Last Wednesday Martin Sargent invited me to be a guest on his show “Internet Superstar” which is produced by the online video network Revision3 (the episode should be up some time this week). While I was there Rev3 co-founder and Vice President of Special Projects David Prager (photo) gave me a tour around their offices and wonderful new high definition studios. I also ran into Rev3 CEO Jim Louderback (photo) and AJ Vaynerchuk (photo) who is part of the Rev3’s awesome Intern Row.
Revision3 was recently featured in LA Times’ Web Scout:

The WordPress Charity Scavenger Hunt will have teams of four running amok in San Francisco for two hours, unravelling clues, finding weird stuff and completing tasks for points. The winning team with the most points will get the grand prize: lots of WordPress schwag, plus special surprises!

In February 2008 San Francisco freelance writer and Wired contributing editor Mathew Honan created the website “Barack Obama Is Your New Bicycle”, which displays random Barack Obama non sequiturs. The site was a huge hit, taking the internet by storm in a matter of hours.
Of course like all great internet memes it has been made into a book, which is being published by Gotham Books and will be released on August 5th. To celebrate this momentous occasion, Mat is having a Barack Obama is Your New Book Release Party this Wednesday, August 6th at The Dovre Club in San Francisco.
